Integrating Nature into Education & Expanded Learning

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

As cities look to create equity in nature connection for children, we must create system-wide opportunities for children in schools and in out-of-school time. Children can gain the educational benefits of time in nature through a variety of strategies that include building partnerships between cities, schools, and youth-serving organizations. Through roundtable discussions and action planning, we will explore the ways that both environmental education and experiences in nature have many longlasting positive effects on child development.
